Winter '07 — Newsletter

www.Casey-Noles.com is online!

Our website has new support options!

Now that the Holidays are behind us, we hope that your new year is off to a great start.  We would like to start by saying thank you for your business in 2006, and thank you for continuing to trust your business technology needs to Casey & Noles Consulting in 2007!

We have just recently completed the launch of our new website, and we have included some features that will save you time and allow us to support your office remotely.

Our support page contains a convenient service request form that you can fill out, and it is the quickest and most convenient way to reach us. We also have a remote assistance tool on our support page that one of our engineers may direct you to for access to your PC when troubleshooting. This new tool is very simple and very fast, and it allows us to handle 75% of our client's requests without having to go on-site saving you time and money!

Please continue to check our website regularly for newsletters, important announcements and helpful information. Please let us know if you have any suggestions or questions.

Other ways to contact us

The best way to ensure the quickest response is to use our service request form at www.casey-noles.com. You may also send service requests via email to . This is the same email address that our service request form routes to, and it is monitored by our staff during normal business hours. Please remember to include your call back number and a brief description of your request.

Our main office number is 678-730-0748, and calls to this number are handled by our answering service 24 hours a day/7 days per week. Our answering service has been given a list of questions that we have put together so that we will have as much information about who is calling and what the request is. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as your message is routed to us within MINUTES.

Please note that our office hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday.  All requests that are in queue after hours will be answered the following business day.  At this time, we are not staffed to be "on call" after normal business hours unless arrangements for after hours work is made in advance.  However, if you have an urgent need, we will try to assist you as a courtesy depending on our availability .  We appreciate your understanding.

Sometimes you may need to reach one of us directly by telephone or email, or you may prefer to just leave a direct voicemail. We understand. Our website has each engineer's contact information listed, but if you do contact us directly, please keep in mind that there may be a delay in response time depending on our schedules. You may also request for the answering service to direct your message to a particular engineer.

We ask that you please refrain from calling any of our cell phone numbers. All of us are mobile most of the time working in our client's offices, and incoming cell phone calls may cause unnecessary interruptions and possible mishanding of your request since it will not be documented in our system. We understand that there may be certain exceptions. We appreciate your understanding, and we ensure you that your urgent requests will be handled as quickly as possible.

I need a PDA phone. Which one should I get?

Blackberries, Treo's & Motorola Q, oh my!

Choosing the right PDA phone can be even more difficult that choosing the right laptop. We all want a phone that is small, sleek, feature packed yet has a large enough keyboard and screen to be functional. However, with all of the attractive options out there, you still need to be sure that the PDA will seamlessly integrate with Microsoft Outlook and your server environment.  We are currently recommending ONLY the Blackberry line of PDA products for seamless wireless integration with your email, contacts & calendar items. Please consult with us FIRST before making any decisions on which PDA to purchase.  For more information, please email support@casey-noles.com
